Champions for Children 2023
Friday, November 3, 2023

4Cs is hosting our annual Champions for Children Recognition Luncheon on November 3rd, 2023 at the Bennett Valley Golf Course. We want to celebrate with those who have improved the education standards and safe surroundings of children. The event honors six community leaders who are advocating for and working on behalf of children in Sonoma, Napa and Marin Counties. The categories are: Inspired Start – 0 to 5 Early Care and Education; Inspiring Education – K through 12 Education; Strong Families - Public Service/Agency; Healthy Communities - Health and Medical; Safe Surroundings - Business/Foundation; and Positive Social Connections - Peer Leadership (under 35 years old).

Our Champions are nominated by the public and chosen by an independent Selection Committee, made up of local business and community leaders. The six 2023 Champions for Children award recipients will express the values and principles of the Strengthening Families 5 Protective Factors: Parental Resilience; Positive Social Connections; Concrete Support in Times of Need; Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development; and Social and Emotional Competence of Children.

Our hope is that attendees will leave the Champions for Children Recognition luncheon feeling inspired to act on the mission of 4Cs: To provide access to quality child care and early education in Sonoma County through advocacy, direct service, and empowerment.

Be a Champion of 4Cs!
